The Academy of Laser Dentistry Standard Level Recognition by Credential Program recognizes Biolase and WCLI as the first to provide the curriculum for their educational programs for consideration for recognition by credential, a process the ALD hopes will unite the laser community in its quest for laser education.
An application process allows any WCLI fellow who becomes an ALD member to apply his or her WCLI Continuing Education credentials to the ALD for consideration and recognition. "We are pleased to recognize our members for their WCLI Fellowship level of education", said Dr. Mel Burchman President-Elect. This program is designed to welcome more members, recognize their education thus far, and invite dentists and hygienists to participate in ALD's Advanced Program.
Members of recognized laser organizations may apply for Academy of Laser Dentistry Standard Level by Credentials with curricular scrutiny by the Certification committee. Contact the office of the Executive Director for further information.
